My high school friend’s wedding

Vinh “lun” is my highschool’s close friend and one day before his wedding, he called me to invite. Such a “polite” notice. No Invitation Card, no effort to meet to inform. However, that is why we are close friends. He knows I don’t need all the fuss to gauge our true friendship. Before him, several friends called and made fun of my, saying: “the last man at the class already taken, watch your chance Hoa, become zero now”. Teasing me of not getting married yet is one of favorite topics for them so such words didn’t stop me laughing. Our friendship is far more beyond what were said. It is about how we remain unchanged throughout such a great length of 15 years after leaving Chu Van An school. I don’t meet them often but the boys go out weekly and the girls have their husbands hanging out with those boys frequently meanwhile their sons/daughters go to childcare together. It is incredibly lucky for us who have met, made known of each others and shared our support.

I love them now purely and sincerely like my unhurt heart did 15 years ago. During my years abroad, their attitude of never taking anything serious like adults had kept me fresh and well-believed in eternity of good moral. Bad love experiences and failure in business couldn’t turn my eyes to grey because I know good people and good things are around. They and their unchanged view for me as an great independent cool friend who can deal with anything nicely are like the bricks creating a big wall to cover my back when the storm comes. Great friends make great personality. Now that I believe.

Here are some of us, all except me have married and got children:
